There has been many times in my career where I said things that were inaccurate on the air. Whether it was because of a mispronunciation of a name or I just didn’t do my homework, I’ve always owned up to it. This news anchor’s mistake was pretty bad.
At least the mistake was smooth and he corrected himself without being awkward!
